Why I do this

When I started out in my career in 2005, I focused mainly on video production. For several years, I teamed up with all different kinds of clients, honing my technical skills, knowledge, and artistry.

It was around 2009 that I noticed myself increasingly drawn to nonprofit video work. It wasn’t just rewarding to collaborate with such consequential organizations; I also felt strongly that in the right hands, video was a tool uniquely suited to build support for their causes.

Video has the potential to move viewers and turn them into real fans. However, not every video is created equal. Harnessing the power of video takes serious planning, patience, and an understanding of the medium.

When I see the potential of video going to waste, I feel personally let down. That’s why over the years, I’ve expanded the parameters of my work so that I not only produce video content, but also assist my clients in using it as part of a strategic, holistic marketing approach focused on both long- and short-term goals.

In addition to client work, I’ve produced educational content in the form of articles, courses, and a full-length book, so any interested nonprofit can access my ideas and philosophy and adapt them to suit their needs. I was initially based in Philadelphia before relocating to just outside Jerusalem, but I am happy to travel wherever a project takes me, doing my part no matter what or where.
