There’s a lot of competition in academia, affecting the recruitment of both top students and professors.
In order to attract more prospects, Touro sought to showcase some of the unique aspects of its institution, and accomplishments of their staff, creating a series of videos that each highlighted a specific individual.
Process
In preparing to produce these videos, we first got to know each video subject through a series of emails and phone calls.
We then put together a storyline for each one, including a list of topics and visuals to include.
We ran this by Touro’s marketing department. After some tweaking, we finalized on the plan and captured materials according to it, so there were no surprises for the client at the end.
During filming, we were able to really capture the professors’ authentic personalities. After weeks spent getting to know each other, the interactions on set were relaxed and casual.The interviews took the tone of friendly conversations rather than professional dialogues, producing natural, candid footage.
Results
Touro was quite pleased with the results and with their improved ability to promote some of their more unique programs.
