Mazal Tov, Rabbi Glustein!
We produced a film for Politz Day School that not only honored their principal of 18 years, but also strengthened the bond between the school and the community. Using Rabbi Glustein’s example, we reminded viewers of their investment in Politz’s success and encouraged them to make their own significant mark on the school’s legacy.
CHALLENGE
When Politz Day School approached us to create a film honoring their principal of 18 years, we immediately understood that this was an opportunity to strengthen the bond between the school and the community. An honoree film, implemented with the right platform, is a powerful tool for fostering stronger community relations in the long term.
PROCESS
The key to the film we created was mutual appreciation. We not only celebrated Rabbi Glustein’s personal accomplishments; we showed how they were enriched, inspired or otherwise involved with his relationship with Politz. By underscoring why he loves the school and how committed he is to its wellbeing, we reminded viewers of their own investment in Politz’s success. In so doing, we encouraged them to emulate Rabbi Glustein and make their own significant mark on the school’s legacy.
A dinner, gala, or some other fundraising event is an effective way to frame and capitalize on this kind of video. An evening that revolved around such a memorable message would support the school’s efforts to involve and engage the public. The film would keep school pride alive and give attendees a reason to make Politz a priority.
RESULTS
In fact, in the end, the film was so well received, and captured the spirit of Politz so completely, that they chose to use it for student recruitment as well.
